#I think love again full#
It took him long seconds before regaining full control of his breathing and being able to focus fully on his brother to question him. Ian's statement took Lip by surprise, and he immediately spat out the soda he had just tried to swallow. "That much?" Lip questioned before bringing the can to his mouth. Ian handed one of the sodas to his brother who gladly accepted it, then sank down on the old sofa Lip had set up in the corner of the room. In his condition, he would have preferred a beer, but he knew it would not have been right in front of Lip who was still struggling to stay sober despite all the hardships he had on a daily basis. Ian sighed and opened the fridge to take out two colas. The latter, having noticed his presence, turned to him with a small smile before questioning him, noticing his worried expression. He knew that this behavior annoyed Tamy, and he tried his best not to act like he was at home when she was around, but saw no reason to force himself to change his behavior when it was just him and Lip. Knowing that Lip would be home alone by then, he entered the back door without bothering to knock. He still vividly remembered feeling the urge to leave those four walls which at the time seemed to want to imprison him, but now that it was done and he couldn't go back, it was sometimes as if the foundations of his life were taken away from him.įortunately, this state of longing and melancholy did not last long as it only took a few more steps for him to reach his brother's house next door. It had been almost a year now since they had sold this house, but he was still having a hard time getting used to it. Ian felt a small pang in his heart as he passed the house where he had grown up.
